"Saying no to everything isn't going to work now the nation's said yes to Obama."

The "nation?"

Obama won by less than three percentage points. About 62 million people voted for him--around a quarter of the adult population. Over 59 million voters picked Romney. Another quarter.

Obama's margin this time was about 3.5 million votes. Bush's in 2004 was about 3 million.

The Democrats picked up two seats in the Senate out of 100, and eight seats in the House out of 435.

Republican governors picked up another state. That's 30, I think. Or is it 31?

I know how badly you and many others want to live in a nation where effective opposition to The Party no longer exists, but right now it might still be a little early to be fitting Democratic leaders for crowns.
