re: Noah's Ark on the Moon
In Arthur C. Clarke's novel 3001, Luna was used to store all the deadly, dangerous things once found on Earth, like biological and computer viruses. Perhaps we could put the good stuff like DNA samples on one side of Luna and the bad stuff on the other.
Just don't ignite the nuclear waste dumps, or we'll lose Moonbase Alpha!
In all seriousness, he makes a good case. We are foolish to keep all our eggs in one celestial basket.
