Of course, the real deal about promoting his book is the Dems are offering to promote his book. It's not like her father has any talent at writing at book, or even a story worth writing, but any garbage he can scrawl down will be put through the Dem machine.
Reminds me of Soviet Union- the soviet industry would make tons of stuff which useless and stack in warehouses. You see this is just another means of making a campaign contribution- someone just buys tons of books which are a stacked somewhere. And a "hidden" means of bribing people.
The next evolution [if not already happenning] is skipping the "wasteful and expensive" stage of actually printing the books- just say you made the books- saves on trees and storage or waste fill space.
