FIRST FACT: Let's remember that George W. Bush was in uniform,
whatever you think of national guard or air-guard units, he was in uniform.
Respect him for that.
SECOND FACT: George W. Bush offered to go over to Vietnam in 1968; someone, wHether his CO, or an USAF paperpusher turned him down.
If he hadn't been turned down, he might have suffered a John McCain or worse...
THIRD FACT: Whatever you think of John Kerry's politics, respect him for joining the military, putting on his country's uniform, and going over to fight
instead of deserting [as many did back then].
FOURTH FACT: Respect him for showing bravery under fire. None of his critics has accused him of cowardice.
"Most men can handle adversity. But to really tes a man, give him power." ABRAHAM LINCOLN
I'd like ebnelson, and Tony on one side, and Bowser and Don on the other to take a deep breath, pause, and recall some basics.
