You guys, you guys, you guys! Check this out, it's cool!

http://del.icio.us

It's a "social bookmarks" program. If you sign up, you can post bookmarks to this with the same cavalier attitude as you would with your own browser, but other people can see them! It's so fun. The front page constantly updates the bookmarks all the users are putting up, so it's fun to refresh when you're bored (I found such cool things as Cooking for Engineers, a great paper airplane, articles about female video game characters "posing" in Playboy, and an amazing short video about how to fold a shirt. Seriously, check that shirt craziness out. I can't even do it.

"my del.icio.us", when you have an account, shows all of the bookmarks you have personally added. When you want to add one, you can add a description to the link if you want, and put it in categories that you define, space-separated (i.e., "webcomics b&w cute" or "news", &c.). When someone enters one of your categories in the "search", they will have access to everyone's links that fall into that category, or categories close to it ("webcomics" as a search term also returns things in categories such as "webcomics/humor" or "comics"). Just make sure you have it set to search everyone's bookmarks, http://del.icio.us/search/all, or you'll only fetch your own stuff.

Go nuts!
