For the record, I'm almost certain Kerry had nothing to do with this. However, there are some people on his campaign, especially lately, that I wouldn't put it past. But I think they would have done a better job.
I see the origin of these memos as some enthusiastic Democraticunderground.com types with more fervor than brains. The latter is not uncommon over there.
