There is no reason to wait. They were forgeries.

Everyone should simply realize that Rather is not attempting to be objective or fair. The program format is recognized and well known by insiders and outsiders not to be based on trying to show a balanced view. It's like expecting lawyer trying to make a case for their client, to use methods which are objective and balanced. They are trying to make a "case".

If the program was about presenting a fair and balanced view then you might expect that Rather might be fired. But as I said you missing the point. Rather is doing his job- he might get a pay increase, he might get more job offers. All he needs to do is pretend- like he has been doing for decades that he is objective- it's voice, mannerism, and style rather than content.

The reason there is Talk Radio, is that there used to be a law which required the media to offer balanced presentation- if you provide an opinion/POV you had to provide an opposite opinion/POV. That law was removed by Republican congress- and Dems and Liberal want this law back. Now! And since about the same time Rush got on the airwaves, the liberal media no longer needs to provide the sham of giving equal time to opposing ideas. The only reason they continue the ruse, is because people are used to it, and works it.
Fox news is of course a challenge to the old liberal media, because they actually put a real conservative point of view and a real liberal point of view on a show. Plus they got O'Reilly with the Factor who is providing something not offered anywhere else- a fair and balanced show.
In other words now the media acts like normal people- they don't need to go around with hand puppets in order to pretend they are "balanced".

Now, if people would stop worshipping these liberal jackasses, we might get real news. Why do people "respect" people like Rather- sure he gets pay a lot, looks and sound "good". But he is dumb as a brick. And he is boring as hell.
Do the women find him "charming"- in other words he seems dumb. He is white. He is old. Looks like he will follow orders- "Take out the garbage".
