As far as research goes, you can be sure that Kitty has her sources lined up well enough that the book is liable proof - I don't think she's been sued before, and I don't seem to remember either any successful suits, or retractions on her part - if anything, what has usually happened has been that though not believed at first, with time her reporting has been proved to be accurate -

Of course, I expect our conservatives here to end up feeling like Clinton supporter's did when it turned out that he did have sex with that woman. And I expect our liberals here to crow about this, without considering the state of the nation if W Bush does win.
