You are right about the tornados. My worst hurricane experience was in Baton Rouge. I was much younger and being a coaster, I was kinda laughing at the locals worrying about a level 2 hurricane 50-60 miles inland. Well, I was right that the hurricane had weakened before it got there but a dadgummed tornado devastated the apartment complex I lived in at the time. Miraculously no one was hurt but that was the only time I have been made temporarily homeless by a storm.
