What kind of crap is CBS trying to pull? The documents are fake, but the content is true based on the memory of an old lady from conversations that happened years ago.

This is not journalism. This is tabloid magazine reporting.

The reminds me of trying to determine the intent of the voter by the way the chad was punched. “This is how we interpret how the voter meant to vote. Since this chad is punched slightly, that means the voter intended to vote for that candidate.” They don’t know that.

This is the same crap. “The guy is dead and he didn’t write these memos, but if he had written them, this is what he would have said.” They don’t know that.

This is like the anomalist, who go past the pixel level of the picture to see things that are not really there.

In all three examples above, the data is not there to support the conclusion. They are adding data that was never there. You can’t make up data and get an accurate answer. Every scientist knows this.

CBS should have said, “Sorry, we jumped the gun and screwed up.” Why they are sticking to this lie, I do not know. Do they really want the President to loose so badly they are willing to loose their credibility? Are they just too embarrassed by their mistake. Are they hoping they can keep the issue alive until the election?

This is the worst journalism I have ever seen, and it is stupid for CBS to say the documents are fake but the content is real. That is crap.
