I can't believe that you actually thought I was Dan Rather. But then the posts I made could have been pulled directly of the teleprompters at CBS News: Just change the subjects a little bit, but leave all the references to "unnamend officials" and "secret memo's uncovered (Ohhh!) by CBS" and it really could have been the man himself.

I guess it will go down as a failed attempt at satire.

Network news is in serious decline because of hack reporters like Rather who run around pretending that they they are the most credible source out there, and then at the sasme time they have abused thier position to promote bogus stories and promote their own political ideologies. Over the years, CBS has really led the way on this decline. Its great to live in a time when we for the first time are not tied down to their narrow world view. They really are only a maginal step above the likes of the National Enquirer: I fully expect Rather to report on Alien abductions any day!
