I just dont understand how such blinding party loyalty can develop, much less be sustained...

I seriously doubt that the Kerry campaign was involved with the forgeries, it just isnt logical...

First there is the severe risk if they were exposed- I cant see them taking that risk.

Second, give me 2 seconds worth of ketchup profits and I could make a better forgery.

Third, The gain, even if they were believed, would not be that significant.

I think this is the work of some independent person/persons. I want the source exposed if they are forgeries. Whoever did it should be exposed and attacked.
Personally I think it is obvious that Bush did get in the ANG through connections, and that he shirked his duties- but forged documents are an inexcusable subversion of democracy. And before you ask, Yes even IF the Kerry campaign is involved it should be exposed.

Now, I DO think the reasoning behind CBS going ahead and airing the documents should be examined... it seems at this point that it shows a SEVERE lack of judgement, given the concerns of their own experts.

You know, it is so damn disheartening that with all the real problems facing our nation and the world our president is going to be decided by this inconsequential bullshit. If you are honest with yourself you will have to admit neither man should be president.

By the way, I am not a lawyer, so I am curious- If they are forgeries can any criminal charges be brought against the forger?
