About 4 years ago a couple of guys made a short movie on their home computers about a passenger jet making an emergency landing on an LA freeway. It was amazingly realistic, and was an internet sensation- I was blown away that people could do that at home in their free time.

With technology developing the way it does, it is only a matter of time (and may already be the case) that one or two individuals could create documents or video evidence of any candidate doing anything. Ihave no doubt that a very convincing video of Bush getting a payoff by the head of Halliburton, or Kerry playing Polo with BinLaden could be made on a computer, my question is could such trickery be done well enough to fool experts?

I would like to say that the answer is currently 'no'. But how long before it can be done?
