"The British Army is to start pulling troops out of Iraq next month despite the deteriorating security situation in much of the country, The Observer has learnt.
The main British combat force in Iraq, about 5,000-strong, will be reduced by around a third by the end of October during a routine rotation of units."
From the blog.
"the words of Lieutenant Brown, "you cannot both support the troops and protest their mission".
Nonsense. That's like saying you cannot love your kids unless you approve of everything they do. Only this is worse. These are honorable men and women who are doing the very best anyone could do in service to a government which has sold them out, using them as fodder for Halliburton benefit, propping up the ego of GWB.
One can support troops, and one can wish they were engaged in an endeavor worthy of them. GWBs agenda is not.
