We knew then what we know now. The UN wasn't finding anything.

Now, about the lies in the above post. Those people were certain, and they were wrong.
They took the weakest rumors, propaganda, crooked "informers", and used that information to take a nation to an illegal invasion.

With ANY due diligence, they would not have gone to war. The French, Germans, most of the rest of the Security Council knew the information wasn't there.
