But it will be interesting to see what happens when all that nuance runs into a candidate who doesn't try to shift with the changing winds.
I think Kerry will dump single payer healthcare or some other classic feel good domestic item in the debates from out of the blue in an attempt to confuse or fluster Bush. If Bush stays on message, I don't think such a ploy will work. And even if it does, it will get torn to shreds by the Blog world quickly after the debate.
