I looked at some of his ideas. Mostly along the lines of more "stimulus." A lot of people, including Krugman (another Nobel winner), think we just haven't printed up enough trillions and passed them around to the politically-connected.
Kind of like my idea of ending unemployment by government funding the construction of an Egyptian pyramid in every county in the U.S.
There are things that would work, but there is no political power to be had in them. So, they're D.O.A. in Washington. Even Republicans can't get past the idea of "how should government create jobs?"
