Actually, I think Hillary has it in the bag. All she has to do is "be presidential" while in the Senate, keep her husband on a short leash and distance herself from the Democratic Party's lunatic fringe. After 4 more years of George W., the Democrats will be able to get ***anyone*** elected President (even Kerry if he's still in politics). The Republicans main hopes for 2008 are Arnold (if they amend the Constitution) or John McCain (if he isn't too old and his health holds up). Hillary will be able to steam roller any lesser politician.
When Hillary gets elected, the Iraq thing will be ancient history. However Iran and Saudi Arabia will probably be interesting (possibly overly interesting). Also the aging Baby Boomer thing will just start to be a noticeable problem rather than idle conversation. I hope HIllary is up to it.

The abyss and Hillary
The whole thread (13 posts)
- Tracing the path of Bush's 'nomadic years'
- I beg you DNC fools, keep up this flawed line of attack (n/t)
- The Democrats are getting desperate: Bringing up old crap of questionable veracity.
- Most victims of a con, like the con that 'Bush was awol' fall for it because the lie feeds their pre-existing desire.
