If, in discussion group parlance, a "seagull" is someone who flies in, screams, and shits all over everything, then ebnelson is an

albatross: All the behavior of a seagull, but larger -- thus, more shit -- and impossible to get rid of (cf. Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner).
