New polls hold good news for Bush

Another poll showing a big lead. The polls seem to be alternating between a barely significant lead for Bush and a major ass-kicking of Kerry. I don't believe the public's opinion is alternating that badly. It's not even following the old pattern of registered voters showing a closer race than likely voters. I really wish I knew more about the differences in methodology of these polls.

One theme seems to be constant lately though. The electoral college seems to be leaning more and more towards Bush, but I'd hate to see another electoral landslide based on only a minor difference in popular vote.
