If it were the isolated post, an occasional matter, every once in a while, I'd agree with you. Ignoring it would be the wisest course. That wouldn't imply approval.

However, the blizzard of inanity and insults, with very, very few of the posts having any content at all, is impossible to ignore. The sheer mass of them turns it into a different matter.

As we have seen, if it were a liberal doing the same thing with that intensity conservatives would be all over the poster. And that even though that poster DID have a great deal of content. Conservatives (and liberals) responded in high dudgeon.

So, I'd say that since eb is conservative (there may be a God), and conservatives don't confront him where they would a liberal, that is offering tacit approval.
