"sun pictures" from the rovers
Data being downloaded after the conjunction shows a lot of those little pictures of the sun. These are to orient the rover in some way, right? It looks like a few such shots were taken automatically all during the conjuction period. How do they filter these? I still remember a lunar mission where an astronaut kacked their camera by accidentally pointing it at the sun. Of course, that was long before solid-state video technology.
