Frank Borman headed Eastern Airlines. He bought many Airbusses and I remember taking an Airbus from NY JFK to Orlando from Eastern Airlines in august 1978! It was my first visit to Florida and the Cape!
Borman once said it was much much more difficult dealing with unions, humans than with machines taking him to the Moon.
Eastern Arlines also had known a crash in the Everglades. I read this book about it.....spooky!
