I don't like Dons postings. I don't like his daily death count. I don't read his posts anymore, and I have not for over a year. However, again, its an apples and oranges comparison.

You are taking offense at Dons political agenda, perspective and etc. Don does have sources (you may find them questionable, as is your right as a thinking human being) for his body count, so its difficult to call that a 'Lie'. He posts opinion- one you may find odious, but so be it- thats what CE is for, right? The offering of and discussion of opinion and current events?

The offense here is your own. Don is not breaking any social standards, nor is he doing anything outside of what is the stated bylaw for this board.

However, your language is hateful in the extreme. You call people LKiars, Patsys, Nazis, Lovers-oif-all-sorts-of-tyrantrs, defeatists, traitrors, spammers... yadyadayada and on and on. You do it without unpacking or explaining why you level such charges. When the moderator calls you on it, you equate it to something entirely unrelated (Dons divisive and pointless behavior).

The offense I take at your posts is that you are insulting people, and doing so without any other content to your post. I wouldn't even really care that much if you called out a few of those names (liar in particular), if you at least made the case that the person knew something to be untrue and willfully said it in anycase.

You basically are acting contrary to the stated bylaws of this board, and are acting in a way that is consistent with what should be on Flame.

Basically, Ed, you don't want to disagree with Don, you want him shut up. Don is not posting flames- you are. You should go over to flame, not he. I think Don should give it a bloody rest already, but he is not doing anything wrong. If you don't like Don, be a big Man and deal with it and/or go to Flame. Don't poison the water (even more than it already has been) here in your zeal to shut him down.
