Do you think the roll is caused by torque???
Awhile back one of my airport bum friends, an Engineer for Lock-Mart, explained to me how the exhaust gasses coming out of a rocket nozzle can swirl just like water going down the drain of a bathtub. He said it can cause a lot of torque which has to be compensated for on things like air to air missiles.
