In Our Town

Our local paper had a story about new resident, August Kreis who has moved here from Idaho. The Reverend Kreis is among many fundamental Christians in his unerring support for and belief in preznit Bush, and has stated, "if you're going
to believe in something, you should believe it with all your heart."

Reverend Kreis sits on the high council of the Aryan Nations and is an ordained white supremacist minister and preaches Christian Identity.

There are several million fundamentalist Christians in the US and between 15 to 18% of voters belong to churches or movements that believe as a matter of life eternal and death that there is a hidden prophecy in the Bible. This message is that Jesus will return to earth when the following conditions will have been met: The first was the establishment of the state of Israel; Isreal's occupation of the iblical lands from the Nile to the Euphrates; the re-building of the Third Temple on the site of the Dome of the Rock, presently occupied by Al Aqsa mosque; the prophesied war between the Antichrist and his legions against Israel in the valley of Armageddon; the death or conversion to Christianity of the Jews; and the Messiah returning to earth.

At this point the belief is the true believers will be lifted to heaven in the rapture. Here they will have ring side seats to watch the seven year tribulation in which their political and religious rivals are being destroyed by the vilest means. Our Rev. Kreis says, "violence solves everything." His religion claims that Jews are the children of Satan and have corrupted blacks, which were put on earth to be servants to white people. Other minorities are "mud people, who are a plague on a white Christian nation that has strayed from God's intent," he said.

Republican House majority leader, Tom Delay traveled to Israel in 2003 and spoke before the Knesset and advised them in their struggles, "There is no middle ground, no moderate position worth taking."

Attorney General John Ashcroft, a political joke who lost his Senate election to a dead man, is among the 33 per cent of Republicans that self-identify themselves as "true believers." Preznit Bush includes himself in this grouping as a born again Christian and as such is the beneficiary of a major political constituency which forms the Bush core vote.

In 2002 Bush asked in a televised address that Ariel Sharon pull his tanks out of Jenin. Bush is reported to have received over 100,000 angry e-mails from fundamentalist Christians objecting to his not encouraging a conflagration in Gaza. The Iraq war is seen as a warm up game by fundamental Christians for the greater war foretold in Revelation 9:14-15 , hence Bush's purposeful
designation of the "axis of evil."

The Rev. Kreis sees the Iraq war as "our punishment as whites for not demanding our position as God's chosen people." The Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project has designated 751 "Christian" organizations and their chapters in 2003 they labeled "hate groups."

Guess which political candidate fundamentalist Christians tend to support for president?

Guess who won't be in the rapture if Bush fails to keep war going between the Euphrates and the Nile?

Apparently WMD can be found right here at home.
