Cripes....what they said was that there were "no inconsistencies" between their findings and Cheney's claims, while at the same time admitting that there was no evidence of any collaboration between Saddam and Al Qaeda. You've spun and exaggerated those remarks in precisely the same way the Bush-Cheney liars have done.

What "no inconsistencies" means is that the Commission had no evidence of linkages, nor did the Commission have evidence of no linkages. These rather confused remarks were made by the Republican members of the Commission to deflate the striking difference between the lack of evidence the Commission had and what Mr. Cheney was claiming. It was a nifty rhetorical parlor trick. Now you see it. Now you don't.
