Ditto.
His passing reminds me that we went so far so fast early on in the space age...But then something changed, and a part of the spirit of exploration was lost. As a race, I hope we can find it again. I think we will... And with new ideas like those being generated by the X Prize we are once again flexing our minds in ways that we never have before... We are all human, and as such we have a very limmited time here...so we must explore and question the universe and our place in it, or else we risk wasting our only opportunity to experience the feeling of discovery and the happiness that is at the root of the pioneering spirit.
He was a pioneer.
