I've figured it out. Some people are the intellectual equivalent of "Bubble Boys." They possess no mental immunity, no ability to use reason and common sense to filter input and remove invalid concepts. They are prone to infection by pretty much any random meme.
You are welcome to fiddle with the concept of Bush using an invisible earpiece to feed him answers. No doubt to many it is more credible than the idea that Bush has a brain.
You might want to remember that telepathic Lizard People don't need earpieces.
