Michael Badnarik of the Libertarian Party, Michael Peroutka of the Constitution Party, Walt Brown of the Socialist Party, and David Cobb of the Green Party staged their own debate up in Ithica, N.Y.

Each of these candidates for office had interesting and some important issues that deserved to be aired.

I hope both dominant political parties were paying attention so they could gain a better idea of what is important to Americans outside of the choir preaching they are most used to.

David Cobb of the Greens was a very dynamic speaker, and Walt Brown of the Socialist Party was almost frightenly knowledgeable.

This debate was chock a block full of substance, issues were defined and the debaters were respectful of each other even in their disagreements.

The was a case of the best foot being placed forwards in American politics. What a shame the major league parties couldn't go to school on them.
