Unfortunately.
The idea that bullying our way into Iraq would somehow deter terrorism was utter hogwash...an idea concocted by simple and ignorant minds that have little concept about how people, culture and the world really works.
George Bush's detour from the war on terrorism to the war in Iraq has had disasterous consequences upon the safety and security of people throughout the entire world. It was a bad idea, proven bad.
Unfortunately, its consequences will only get worse from here.
