I'll send them on to Linda Moulten Howe who's doing the investigation, or at least putting it up on her website.
I was beginning to wonder if perhaps species can intermingle, like maybe a coyote and a deer. It's possible ANY photo could be doctored, but it was a vet who took the photos. I rather doubt she'd have messed with it's mouth to get her picture in the Enquirer. Looks like she handled it with gloves.
The lack of blood is also unusual. And wasn't the first animal shot without a tail?
