Troops refuse to go on mission in Iraq, citing unsafe equipment

WASHINGTON â€” The Army is investigating up to 19 members of a supply platoon in Iraq who refused to go on a convoy mission, the military said yesterday. Relatives of the soldiers said the troops considered the mission too dangerous, in part because their vehicles were in poor shape.

While I don't condone breakdowns in military discipline, can anyone truly blame these soldiers for refusing a suicide mission at the hands of an incompetent administration? What I really worry about is if this is the tip of the iceberg.
