The doomsayers' predictions were off by over 2 decimal orders of magnitude. As to post war, the President's folks were too optimistic and insufficiently prepared. Their post invasion plans were as vacuous as John F. Kerry's alleged 'plans', despite the fact that JFK has had the advantage of 20-20 hindsight and is yet unable to come up with substantive specifics. This inability is consistent with Kerry's notably inept Senate career of non-accomplishment.
