I came home last week and had a message on my machine... I have an unlisted number, so I expected it was from one of the few people that have my number... it wasnt... after a long pause a computerized voice came on identifying the call as being from the campaign quarters of a republican candidate here in Hawaii. It started asking my machine asking me to hit 1 0r 2 for yes or no...

first it asked my machine if it was a registered republican- apparntly my answering machine was undecided (I will have to talk politics with it more often, I registered my machine as a democrat). My machine was then asked if it was pro life (would any one say no I am anti-life- rather slanted questions). Then my machine remained quiet, but the other machine kept asking more slanted questions...

My question is "what the hell do such slanted polls prove?!"

They cost money, but I dont see what purpose they serve- the questions are so slanted that they cant reveal anything useful.

seems like a waste of money!
