Do you mean to say (Ed, Mark, Todd, and the lurkers), that *NOBODY* in the military thought it would be:-

1) Prudent
2) Fun
3) Honourable
4) a relief from boredom
5) Ass-covering
6) Just plain sensible

To drop one of those wonderful guided bombs or cruise missiles or even a squad of SAS with timed charges...

Or even Sylvester stallone with a hand grenade, a book or matches and a cigarette...

...Through the doors of the bunkers of a KNOWN ammo dump

...In a war situation

...To detonate 1/3 of a MEGATONNE of high burn-rate explosives?

Or even a goddam squad of marines or a private on fatigue duty to light the fuse????
