as long as you understand that any assault against a person for no reason beyond their possessing a concealed gun permit, (even if they are known to be a person who has threatened you), will land you in a max security facility.
I get what you say. Not saying it is right or wrong.
Now, if they have announced to the world that they plan to shoot you on sight, a good lawyer would probably get you off.
