Why insult them ?

What's the left?
The other side from the right...

The left side of a Parliament (as seen from its president).
Meaning, there is a right side, a middle side, with members of the parliament from different parties, different ideas, all with the right to influence the parliament.
In countries where you don't have the right to voice another opinion, there is no left nor right as everybody has to have the same opinion.
