Once upon a time there was a crazy mullah by the name of Khomeni in Iran. He found out about an obscure book called "The Satanic Verses" which disparaged the Quran. He wanted the book destroyed and the author punished. Khomeni, being the idiot that he was, came out with a Fatwa that required Muslims to assassinate the author of this, Rushdie.

Before the crackpot ayatollah brought the book into the limelight, it had sold only a handful of copies. After the bearded beanbrain gave it worldwide publicity, it became an overnight best seller and made its author rich and famous.

Now, here is my analogy. Another bearded beanbrain, Osama Bin Laden, wanted Kerry to win. Being the idiot that he is, he decided to threaten the American People to intimidate them into electing Kerry whom he perceived (perhaps wrongly) would be easier on Al Qaeda than Bush was. Therefore, he made his tape and offered "peace" with the USA if Kerry were elected, and threating any state that voted for Bush with terrorist attacks.

Perhaps this threat mobilized the American population for the biggest turnout in history. Perhaps the American People decided that they would NOT be intimidated by a terrorist, and voted for Bush as a response to that threat. Possible?
