The President does not, nor ever has, run congress. Nor ahs a President ever rund the Judicial Branch.
He has a mandate to the extent that he won, what no President since his father has won, a clear majority of the people. He has a mandate to the extent that if he can get things done that he believes should get done.
W did win in the heaviest turn out in over 40 years and with more votes than anyone since Reagan. He won while being very upfront about his agenda, unlike his opponent.
We do not have a maniac President, we do not have a one party system, and we do not have a President running all three branches of Government.
