And now, a few kudos for Microsoft.
Had to upgrade my Office suite. Coughed up for the full disk of Office 2003 (see earlier post on "upgrades.") Good news? I can legally install a separate copy on my laptop, as long as I'm not using both at the same time. Okay, so I always did this anyway, but it's nice to know.
For the Macs in my house, I found out I was eligible for the student version of Office 2004 (K-12 are now eligible). Also found out I can legally install copies on three separate machines in my house! There are three license codes on the disk! Less than $150! Parents take note!
