After all of the screaming and polarization of the past 3 years, Bush still won by almost 4 million votes. Imagine in 2008 when someone like Bill Frist runs. Many of the moderates who see themselves as Republicans but didn't like Bush (who they see as divisive) and voted for Kerry will vote for the Republican candidate. This will increase our margins even more.
