Hello,
I was awake at 05:30 am, looked outside and o Joy, clear skies!!
I can't see Venus yet (hidden by buildings), wait until 06:20 am, dress up, go outside , clouds....but then yes, something there and yes, Venus and Jupiter to its left appear...I go back inside, try the garden and deep enough inside it, they appear right between walls!! Quick, I get the ETX90 (relieved it takes only a few seconds to prepare it with a 40mm eyepiece) and rush back in the garden. Jupiter with 3 visible moons (no bands because it's so far and because the magnification needed to be small enough to catch Venus at the same time) and Venus at a phase!! Great moment! They must be about 30 arc minutes from each other.
When a few clouds came, I aimed at the Moon (last half moon) and for the first time, saw the Straight Wall as a brilliant line (instead of a shadow) as the Sun illuminates it from the other side.
And I quickly looked at Saturn where history is being made these days.
No time to take pictures as I'm going to work and wasn't expecting the weather to cooperate.
It was a great moment.
