I don't think that immigration is much of a problem in America- the land of constant revolution, upward mobility, and the melting pot. But in a static socialistic society such as found in Europe, it can be a big problem. The difference between Europe and the Middle East is, of course, cultural. To bring into Europe the Middle East culture and allow that culture to grow independently only means Europe will become more like the Middle East- with different characters in the same drama. Though America may save Europe [yet again] from it's own folly- by *simply* transforming the Middle East [Think about it; it's a lot easier than trying to change Europe:].

Of course, America has been trending towards socialism, so things could change in the American future. [Can we open the space frontier? "Now, would be good time, Scotty!":]
