Kind of fun to watch the growth of managed capitalism in China. Keep in mind many of China's CEO's are appointed to that position by the Communist Party on put on loan to the developing companies they head.

China had 60% of the total growth of world trade this year and this is a trend, not a fluke.

Meanwhile, I am in a struggle trying to decide if I should postpone, or jump in to a proposed trip to Europe. The Euro is $ 1.30 US today. When Bush went in office it was $ .85 US. Point is, will the dollar gain in value, or continue its devaluation? As my dollars become worth less my urge to spend them becomes greater---a sort of Gresham's law I suppose.

Perhaps the right wing Bush mavins have some assurance the dollar will strengthen?
