re: Space Odyssey: A voyage to the planets
I enjoyed it a lot!
Landing on Venus, then Mars, then flying-by the Sun to get to Jupiter, grazing an asteroid...Ok, it won't happen anytime soon.
On Venus, we see the atmosphere playing tricks on what we see (like Jodie's "father" appearing on the alien beach in Contact); on Mars, an astronaut finds himself right in the middle of a dust devil with no consequences.
And the weightlessness scenes are almost as good as in Apollo 13.
And there's an important device on the spaceship: a Cupola!
