It was interesting in 1994 when after years of standing outside and looking in the windows, the Republicans took Congress and "reaching out" became the Democratic byword. When Jeffords switched sides in the Senate, suddenly it was "screw you" again. Keeps going around, keeps coming around. Wonder how old Jeffords is doing...
