Tom it isn't about what they do. It is about what we, as conservatives do. Someone has got to step up to the plate and be a hero to the everyman. mcfly and ER are moderates. They are open to ideas. When someone like Calamity Jane represents our side of the issues, with her haughtiness, she alienates anyone who might be willing to listen. She already has the following of conservatives.
But our world consists of more than conservatives.
Some people who voted for Obama are sadly discouraged right now. Sensitive to what will happen next election. What will happen to *them*. Obama has basically let them down. These are rational human beings who want what they feel is best for everyone, also. This is not a bad thing.
Sarah, if she wants validity with the people who are open to her words, needs to reign her attitude in, and come up with viable alternatives to this ever changing country. People will listen. People want to listen.
