Abu Musab al-Zarqawi supposedly said this in an audiotape. (I suppose he left his video camera in Fallujah when he fled.)
"To the heroes of Baghdad and Anbaar and the lions of Mosul, Diala, Samarra and Salhuddin," says the voice on the tape, which appeared Monday on an Islamic Web site frequently used by Iraqi insurgents. "The enemy is avoiding fighting you because it is scattered and bleeding. It has amassed all its power to crush Islam in Falluja.
"When they do that, they plan to move on to where you are. Be careful and foil their plot. The enemy is weak and cannot expand its control because it is heavy with wounds," the tape said. "You should attack them and get them out of their hideouts. Hit them with rockets and cut off their official and unofficial supply lines. This is easy for you to do and will uncover their backs."
Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has serious delusions of grandeur.
