What the hell is wrong with you? I was at the republican convention in Houston 1992, I was on the floor when the balloons dropped on the final night

I was there the final night on the floor beside the Tennessee delegation. I was with some good republican friends that had gotten passes through their involvement with the UT Austin student republican group. As for your ASININE AND UNJUSTIFIED PIPE BOMB STATEMENT they knew my political affiliation, and invited me along because we were friends and they knew I would not start a commotion - good thing since Robert Dornan got within spitting distance a few times as he shmoozed with delegates near me. I was shocked I got in, I warned my friends that I wouldnt pretend to be republican, and I wouldnt wave any signs...

I was dressed in all black and had 2 days growth of beard... We were stopped and questioned before entering the building- and during the evening my friends were approached and questioned more than once as to if I was going to start a commotion.

I have a few hilarious stories from that evening, and I was photographed without permission by the secret service- I would be happy to tell all of the eyeopening details, like the tennessee delegation waving signs saying "family values forever, gay rights never!" or how the phrase 'towel head' was tossed around by the speaker prepping us for going onto the floor... But as I explained on CE I have a busy day tomorrow and I need to get some sleep...

If you don't believe me, fine- but its true, and my brother can probably vouch that he heard the story shortly after it happened.

As for the non-sequiter of tossing up my album page- I dont really see the point, what were you trying to accomplish? Well we'll play it your way...
